Federal Election Scorecard 2025
Where do the parties stand on healthy, energy-efficient homes?
The need for high-performance, sustainable buildings has never been more urgent.
Inefficient, poorly insulated homes are driving up energy bills, harming health, and widening the divide between those who can afford quality housing and those who cannot.
The Australian Passivhaus Association (APA) is on a mission to ensure that all homes and buildings are energy-efficient, healthy, and climate-resilient. But we can’t do it alone. We need your voice to advocate for smarter, more sustainable building practices that benefit everyone.
To help advance this cause, APA has surveyed federal election candidates across Australia to understand their stance on high-performance building standards and how they can support the transition to sustainable homes.
As the results become available, we will add them into the tracker below. I encourage you to take a moment to explore how political parties and your local candidates stand on these critical issues. Together, we can work toward a future an equitable future, where every Australian building provides superior comfort, reduces energy bills, promotes health, and helps to protect the planet.
