In this course, you will learn to design energy-efficient and cost-optimal buildings by implementing the Passivhaus principles in your projects and writing the Certified Passivhaus Designer/Consultant exam.
In the online software course, participants will learn how to use the PHPP for residential building design and certification. Participants will be guided step-by-step through the relevant worksheets while learning the correct conventions for measurements and calculations.
Certified Passivhaus Tradesperson Training
Course Duration: 7 weeks
Total Learning Hours: 7 hours of live sessions + self-study + Practical Training Day

In this course, you will gain the foundational Passivhaus Tradesperson knowledge necessary to prepare you to tackle your first Passivhaus project, as well as write the Certified Passivhaus Tradesperson exam.
A PHI Certified Passivhaus Tradesperson (CPHT) is equipped to implement the Passivhaus building standard. Once students pass the accreditation exam, they are in a unique position to work with design teams that have targeted Passivhaus certification as a project goal.

Guided by presenter Marcus Strang, this workshop is an avenue for him to impart his techniques, advice, and personal experiences so that you can use DesignPH like a pro.
This course will demonstrate how a building model can be rapidly set up using DesignPH & PHPP to receive preliminary feedback on the energy performance of your building design, improving your decision-making processes. As a practical course, the DesignPH Software Training ensures you can apply all the theoretical knowledge from previous courses and enhance your competitiveness as a Passivhaus Designer.
