Announcing changes to the NSW Chapter

We would like to thank our Chapter Chair, Hilit, who is finishing her tenure as NSW chapter chair this week. Hilit has dedicated the last year and a half to moving our chapter in the right direction with remarkable dedication and hard work. The landscape of Passivhaus has changed significantly in last year and half; the Australian Passivhaus Association and Passivhaus growth in Australia have been on a trajectory toward greater success.

To ensure we are ready for the next phase of growth, we are excited to introduce a new co-chair model for our chapter leadership. We will now have two co-chairs, one from design and one from trade, to represent and support all our members comprehensively. We are pleased to welcome Kylie Mills, Director at BluKube Architecture, and Trent Clark, Director at Red Cedar Constructions, both of whom have accepted the co-chair roles to lead the New South Wales chapter.

We are confident that both Kylie and Trent will elevate the New South Wales chapter to the next level in terms of increased member engagement, advocacy, education, and facilitating key events. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Hilit for her incredible support and contributions to the NSW chapter during her tenure.

Thank you,

Stalin Chakrabarty
